A Blast from the Past: Picture Polish Forget Me Not & Picture Polish Sizzle

IMG_1536

In today’s “A Blast from the Past” post I present you with two gorgeous Picture Polish nail lacquers – Forget Me Not and Sizzle. As I love to say – both are gorgeousness in a bottle! So enjoy the pictures :)

Let me just say few words about the nail polishes. Picture Polish Forget Me Not is just perfect bright blue with silver scattered holo particles and the typical for the brand awesome application and formula and a total must-have. The polish is made with collaboration with the blogger Lacquertude and was released in 2014.

Picture Polish Sizzle is a bright hot pink crelly with holo particles but in this one they are not so visible as in the Forget Me Not. Still the nail polish is pretty amazing and must-have. It was made in another blogger collaboration with Cosmetic Sanctuary and released in 2014 as well.

Summer nail art 2015 – Zoya Yummy & China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin

IMG_0315

Hello all,

Today I have a mani I did probably a month ago. It screams summer nail art, at least for me and is made with Zoya Yummy & China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin.

Zoya Yummy is a blue creme polish with nice formula, it required only 2 coats. I wouldn’t say it is a bright blue despite the description on Zoya’s website. It is like a milky blue, not too dark, not too bright, not too light, and definitely not baby blue. I think one can find lots of dupes to that nail polish.IMG_0315 IMG_0309

The other nail polish here is China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin. It is from the brand’s City Flourish Collection for Spring 2014 and it is a milked, kinda dusty yellow creme with relatively good application-  it required 3 coats. The color is somewhat unique for my collection and I don’t have anything similar to it.

My verdict- the China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin is a total keeper, as for the Zoya- plenty of dupes out there in the market.
