China Glaze Lite Brites- Let’s Jam and What I Like About Blue

China Glaze Lite Brites- Let’s Jam and What I Like About Blue!

Let's Jam & What I Like About Blue

I did this manicure some time ago but I just saw I never posted it on the blog, so here it is.

China Glaze Let’s Jam is from the Lite Brites Collection for 2016. Lilac with blue shimmer- visible on the nail. Looks like spring on the nails.

China Glaze What I Like About Blue- hmm, sea blue with golden shimmer, dries matte. When there is no top coat applied the strokes from the brush are visible. The application wasn’t the best experience- one coat is not enough, and when you put a second one it has to be very thick, otherwise 3 coats for leveling it…

I did some stamping using nail polishes from the Layla Mirror Effect range for the circles, and then topped it with some feathers.

Celebrate Spring 2016 with Orly Freestyle and Models Own Bikini

IMG_1747

Today I have a manicure to celebrate the spring- neon bright with flowers!

So here it is : Orly Freestyle and Models Own Bikini. Orly Freestyle & Models Own Bikini

Orly Freestyle is a bright coral red neon polish. It is from the brand’s In the Mix Collection for Fall 2015. Of course it was very hard to photograph the exact color as it is in real life.

Orly Freestyle

Models Own Bikini is a true bright highlighter neon yellow. The polish is from the Models Own Polish for Tans collection 2014.

For the nail art I did some stamping using Creative Shop Stamper with China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans and a Born Pretty Stampling Plate BPL-030.

China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans is probably one of the best regular nail polishes that can be used perfectly for stamping- it is very intense with perfect drying time.

Happy 2016 Spring :)

Summer nail art 2015- Essie Chillato & China Glaze Purple Panic

IMG_0786

Good day!

Today’s summer nail art is made with Essie Chillato and China Glaze Purple Panic. Essie Chillato is from the Essie Summer 2015 Collection and is a yellow or more likely leaning towards pistachio creme. China Glaze Purple Panic is from the brand’s re-released Nervy Neons Collection which originates back from 2005. It is vibrant pink purple neon with subtle blue-ish shimmer.  IMG_0780  IMG_0782 IMG_0783 IMG_0785 IMG_0786 IMG_0788The application was ok. Essie Chillato needed 4 thin coats for complete cover while the China Glaze needed 2 but I put 3 and it also dried matte. I put on the top a fast drying top coat and on the fingers with the sponged nail art I applied one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I didn’t have any issues with chipping or the longevity so the mani lasted until the next one :)
